ABOUT PROGENDA DVD
DVD
DVD ( Digital Versatile Disk ) stands at the forefront of presentation media. If your project includes full screen, high resolution video, and needs to be presented in an orderly fashion but still requires random access, then DVD is the way to go. Progenda Media Services can help you create a DVD program that presents your project in the most efficient and compelling fashion possible.
DVD versus Videotape
Traditional videotape ( VHS ) still has a place but DVD is rapidly gaining ground. DVD used to be prohibitively expensive but with recent improvements in equipment, software, and technology, making DVD’s is not only affordable but high image quality and versatility makes it the number one choice for video presentations. Recent surveys indicate that DVD player sales are increasing at 35% per year so there is no problem with clients being able to view your presentation. Be aware, however, that inexpensive DVD’s may not play on older machines and that is why we use only the best quality materials ensuring the most extensive playback possible.
Hybrid DVD
Hyrid DVD’s combine the best of all worlds. One problem with basic DVD’s are the limitations in interactivity. While the basic DVD specification allows high resolution images and random access, they can't be programmed like CD ROM's.
Hybrid DVD’s are much more sophisticated, allowing web connectivity and complex logic. They are ideal for training or marketing projects that require the user to make choices before proceeding, or for connecting to information stored on websites or in databases.
Progenda Media Services can assist you in all phases of your DVD project - from conception - through acquisition to completion. Our full service video production department can can shoot, edit and complete your project including high end graphics and 3d animation. Most of the work is done in house by our talented staff keeping costs down and the project under control. Need 20,000 copies? We can arrange it!
