God Thinks You’re a Loser, South Austin Pictures latest feature film, has been completed.  A private screening for cast and crew was a howling success; additional screenings are planned in Los Angeles and Shreveport, Louisiana.  It is expected to make a big splash on the festival circuit.

A lunatic fable about sin, damnation, and Hell itself, this weird comic-book romp mixes kinky sex, blasphemous theology, and potty humor into an offbeat film that is as disturbing as it is hilarious.  You’ve never seen anything like it.

Formed in 2004 in Austin, TX, South Austin Pictures was created with the express purpose of making movies, with an emphasis on feature films intended for theatrical release.  The individuals involved in the company have a variety of skills, both in film production and business.  The group includes a Corporate Executive, an Attorney, several Writers and Actors, two Photographers, a Line Producer, an Executive Producer, and a Director.  All have lengthy resumes, voluminous experience, and are consummate professionals.

We have completed two features to date and numerous others are in development.  The intention is to crank out several pictures a year - to manufacture motion picture product - and to do so within the constraints of budget and schedule. 

The firm is available for hire as a Production Company, offering turnkey services from beginning to end.  Also, we regularly review finished films that need assistance in marketing and distribution and we are actively seeking projects that have been developed but need strong producer skills in order to bring them to the screen.
