Vicki
Brentin Vicki Brentin manages client services including the website and business development activities. She is a graduate of the University of Houston Bates School of Law. She obtained her B.A. from McNeese State University in her native hometown of Lake Charles, La. and also studied at The Universite Catholique in Angers, France. After practicing law with one of Houston’s larger firms, she
served as the Senior Director in Texas for CARE International for 8
years, one of the largest international humanitarian aid organizations.
She continues to serve as a CARE volunteer. She is an active member
of The Rotary Club of Houston and currently serves as chair of the club’s
Planned Giving Committee. She is a member of the Houston Planned Giving
Council and serves on the Pastoral Council at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic
Church. Her interests include running marathons and she is a coach with
the Houston Fit marathon-training group. Vicki and John have 3 sons. Mandy Diaz Senior Paralegal Mandy Diaz has been a senior paralegal with the firm since March 2001. She is a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She obtained her B.S. in American Jurisprudence-Legal Studies from the University of Houston – Clear Lake, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was number 1 in her class. She is currently a part-time law student at the University of Houston Law Center. She has been married for nine years and has a four year old son. Bobbie
Barnett Bobbie Barnett, as the firm administrator, is responsible for case management, computer and technology systems, operations and staff supervision. She joined the firm in August 2002. She is a Certified Legal Assistant (“CLA”) and attended the University of Tennessee, where she studied business administration. Her professional background includes both transactional and litigation areas of law, marketing and sales, residential real estate management, and construction. Bobbie is a Lifetime Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and has served on the General Go Texan Committee for over 10 years. She is a children’s and animal rights advocate, serving as a volunteer for organizations such as the Escape Center, the Humane Ranch and Child Advocates Program. Biljana Salamunovic Legal Assistant Biljana Salamunovic, a legal assistant, joined the firm in June 2000. She is originally from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (the former Yugoslavia). She left Bosnia in 1992, living in Germany with her family until 1997, when they moved to the United States. Biljana was a law student in Bosnia for one and one-half years. She is married and has a 12 year old son. Her hobbies include reading and traveling.
DeAndreia Redmond holds the position of Client Relations and Scheduling Coordinator and has been with the firm since March 2002. She is most likely the individual who will cheerfully greet you when you visit the office and handle your telephone calls. She has several years of clerical and customer service experience. DeAndreia attended the University of Houston where she plans to continue seeking her college degree. DeAndreia’s volunteer efforts at Windsor Village United Methodist Church include activities that benefit low-income families. She is also a volunteer with the Fort Bend Youth Sports League. She is married with two children. |
